Thanks so a shopping error on my part, Gunnar and Piper actually own a pair of matching pjs. G has been dying for his sister to wear them with him and sh finally gave it.

It was adorable!

Lego Mania

One of the many awesome gifts G got for his birthday was a Lego set. Lego's are expensive and while I admit Gunnar is quite spoiled, I had yet to give in and spring for Leog's.

He LOVES them. He got a ninja set and immediately got to work putting it together.

To balance his new found passion and my pocket book we are now trying out the "NetFlix" of Lego's www.pley.com. His first set was a super cool Doc Oc (from Spiderman) that he and I both became obsessed with and finished in one sitting. We were a little worried G wouldn't be too keen oon sending it back to get another but it was quite the contrary. By the next afternoon he had it all packed up and his pleylist updated, dying to get the next one. I can't wait either!

F-I-V-E Five!

This year we decided to celebrate Gunnar's birthday with a pool party! It was Nick's idea and I have to give him credit, it went swimmingly. Get it?!

We made green aka Ninja Turtle cupcakes and dined on Gs favorite food, cheese pizza.

There were lot of swimmers and G really made great strides getting more comfortable with the water.

Uncle Josh and Aunt Shann a even made the trip down!

Happy Early Fathers Day

We actually celebrated Fathers Day waaaay early this year since Gunnar made a special spice rub for the big day at preschool.

They turned out very yummy and most definitely SPICY!

To all the fabulous fathers out there THANK YOU! It is an enormous responsibility to raise babies up right and I know I am super lucky to have such a wonderful daddy for my brood.
